Insurance

Insurance & Reimbursement: Some insurance plans may reimburse electrolysis when medically necessary for gender-affirming care or surgical preparation. I can provide detailed superbills for clients to submit to their insurance provider.

Insurance coverage, referrals, prior authorization, medical-necessity requirements, and reimbursement vary by plan. Clients are responsible for verifying their own benefits and completing any required insurance or authorization process before treatment. Reimbursement is not guaranteed, and I am not responsible for obtaining coverage or resolving insurance claims.

Standard superbills are provided at no additional charge. Requests for additional insurance paperwork, forms, benefit exceptions, prior-authorization documentation, or other insurer-specific administrative work are subject to a flat $30 administrative fee.

Office Policies

Genital and Surgical Preparation Electrolysis: Appointments for genital and surgical preparation electrolysis may be rescheduled at the practitioner's discretion to ensure patient safety, appropriate clinical support, and adherence to professional standards.

Refund & Cancellation Policy: All services are non-refundable. Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 12 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours notice and missed appointments (no-shows) are subject to the full scheduled appointment fee, which remains due whether or not a payment method is on file. Clients who arrive late will receive service only for the remaining time of their scheduled appointment; the appointment will not be extended to compensate for late arrival.

Same-Day and Walk-In Appointments: I do not accept same-day appointments or walk-in appointments. All appointments must be scheduled ahead of time through the regular booking process.

Client Conduct & Treatment: Clients are expected to treat the practitioner and others with courtesy and respect. Harassment, threats, abusive or discriminatory behavior, inappropriate sexual comments or conduct, or other behavior that creates an unsafe or disruptive environment will not be tolerated.

I reserve the right to refuse service or end an appointment at any time if I determine that continuing treatment is inappropriate or unsafe. If an appointment is ended due to client conduct, the client remains responsible for applicable fees for the scheduled appointment.
